According to the article, the game tells the story of an underdog that struggles to find his place in the skater world, ultimately achieving his goal through hard work and determination. It’s a true Hero’s Journey, inspired by Joseph Campbell himself.

It’s not the first time Hawk’s been in contact with Campbell’s work, since he was interviewed for the documentary Finding Joe.
