With the recent establishment of Joseph Campbell Endowed Chair of Cinema Ethics at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, George Lucas has yet again praised Joseph Campbell for the inspiration he gave to the creation of Star Wars. If not for Campbell, Lucas says he would still be writing Star Wars today.
