I first learned of Joseph Campbell and The Power of Myth a dozen or so years ago when I was a director of a spiritual events company. Speakers would mention the name 'Joseph Campbell' in hushed, revered tones. I looked up Campbell's work and have been hooked ever since. I have held two board-level positions at the Depth Psychology Alliance and enjoyed lively debates there about Campbell's work. I was honoured to lead the Joseph Campbell Foundation's Mythological RoundTable® Group of London for a while.
