When Joseph Campbell sent his book collection to Pacifica Graduate Institute, it was I who unpacked the boxes. I got to see lots of stuff, including marginalia. I briefly met his wife Jean when she came to Santa Barbara for a gala event at Arlington Theater. It was a wonderful experience. I was an instant fan when first I saw the Power of Myth on PBS.
