The truth is that the light of wisdom and truth of one’s absolute and omnipresent causal spirit nature remains hidden in the darkness of its ignorance until one gathers unto themselves enough conscious spiritual energy to face the darkness to uncover the truth of what is hidden there.
This gradual awakening is expressed in the bible via the contrasting experiences of Solomon of the Old Testament and Paul and John of the New Testament. Where Solomon knew the Lord of all things as a hidden person, a ‘he’ (the myth of God as a man), Paul knew the Lord of all things as the (impersonal) hidden law of the Spirit life in Christ Jesus and John, who had attained the final realization of his true nature knew “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”.
It is our task to arrive as did John, one step at at a time, to the top of the mountain and myth making is a part of this climb. But it does help to know that dependence on thought of any kind to define one’s being eventually comes to an end.
