Lisa is a writer and producer whose professional focus is business-to-business marketing. She is deeply nerdy and has been known to attend science-fiction and steampunk conventions. Lisa was raised in the Bronx and she continues to make her home in New York City.

As a writer, I’ve created new-business proposals; marketing plans; fund-raising strategies; technical guides; web-content; video, audio and stage scripts; B2B direct mail packages; brochures and advertising copy for clients that range in size from large corporations to sole proprietorships. As a producer & project manager, I have overseen the creation of corporate video projects, websites, CD-ROMs & DVDs; line-produced two television pilots; & managed seven corporate relocation projects, two of which occurred overseas. As a production manager, I was responsible for stunt shows, Off-Broadway musicals & Off-Off-Broadway theatricals. As an event coordinator, I have managed corporate meetings & conference events with attendance ranging from 20 to 2,000.

Clients got the best event management software available AND training on how to use it to recruit and motivate hosts, mobilize attendees & raise funds.

Director of Special Projects for O’Connell Meier, Inc., a business-to-business advertising agency. Key creative on a variety of agency clients including the Direct Marketing Association and the American Association for Training and Development (ASTD). Account and project-managed the creation and implementation of four interactive portals for ASTD; these data-driven web sites were the centerpiece for niche-specific marketing campaigns that used a combination of live chats, interactive newsletters and other online events to drive registration and product sales. Each portal received more than one million hits with the average user spending 20 minutes or more on the site per visit.

Special Liaison to ASTON Associates, a financial restructuring firm. Completed work on three financial books: Reengineering the Bank (Irwin Publishing, Chicago, IL) by Aston’s chairman, Paul Allen; the international edition of the book, Creating the New Bank, published by Lafferty Publishing in Dublin, Ireland; and the paperback edition of Reengineering the Bank, published by McGraw Hill. Produced a seven-city book and speaker’s tour of Reengineering the Bank in concert with the Bank Administration Institute (BAI).
