The Joseph Campbell Foundation invites you to experience the power of myth. Our vision is for readers and seekers around the world to be inspired by Campbell's ideas so they carry his work forward in their own lives.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for supporting this work.

Between now and Dec 31, 2026, for donations of $10 or more we are offering a thank-you gift of an ebook version of On the Hero's Journey. Part of the Joseph Campbell Essentials series highlighting recurring motifs in Campbell’s work, On the Hero's Journey offers short, accessible renditions of Joe's timeless teachings. It is an invitation to rediscover the timeless story that shapes us all.

As Campbell writes, “Each time, there is the same problem: Do I dare?” With every call to adventure, the hero faces both the potential for bliss and the threat of annihilation. We too are invited to step forward and embrace our birthright — if we are brave enough to act and humble enough to accept the help we are offered along the way.

Thank you so much for being part of this community.
